About the role

Looking for an internship where you’ll do more than schedule social posts?

As our Marketing & Communications Intern, you’ll work across digital marketing, events, external and internal communications, helping deliver local campaigns and client initiatives. You’ll also work with colleagues across Investec’s international network to adapt global campaigns for the Benelux market.

If you’re proactive and eager to learn, you’ll gain broad, hands-on experience from day one.

What you’ll be doing

Content & Communications

• Help manage the editorial calendar and contribute ideas that strengthen Investec’s brand in the Benelux.
• Draft content for internal and external communications, including email campaigns, newsletters, our website and thought leadership articles.
• Support deal announcements and media communications.
• Create social media assets using Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.

Digital Marketing

• Support our SEO and GEO optimisation project.
• Monitor campaign performance and contribute to reporting and insights.

Events

• Support the planning and delivery of client hospitality, networking and thought leadership events.
• Coordinate speakers, venues, logistics and event communications.

Marketing Operations

• Maintain CRM data, mailing lists and campaign reporting.
• Ensure marketing materials align with Investec’s global brand standards.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised and excited to learn.

You are:

• Currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field at a Dutch or EU higher education institution.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and paying close attention to detail.
• Eager to contribute ideas and take initiative.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Practical details

• 24–32 hours per week
• Internship duration: 4–6 months
• Preferred start: September 2026 (flexible)
• Based at our Amsterdam office (WTC Zuidas), with occasional travel to ‘s-Hertogenbosch
• Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager
• Full training and support on marketing tools and platforms
